Reliable storage of the propeller shaft directly in the stern tube: The Vetus RULAGER is a water-lubricated rubber bearing with a robust brass casing, designed for shaft diameters of 40 mm. The rubber core is lubricated by the incoming cooling water and simultaneously dampens vibrations – for quiet, low-maintenance operation underwater.

Tip: When pressing in the brass casing, ensure an even fit and briefly moisten the bearing before assembly so that the rubber remains pliable. For easier handling or if corrosion resistance is a priority, Vetus also offers the same bearing with a phenolic resin outer casing.
