Less vibration, more peace and quiet on board: The flexible engine mount type K35V from Vetus effectively decouples small diesel and gasoline engines as well as generators from the boat hull. The specially tuned rubber compound absorbs structure-borne noise and vibrations before they can spread throughout the vessel.
Tip: Flexible engine mounts should be regularly checked for cracks, hardening, or uneven deformation – a worn mount will hardly dampen vibrations and unnecessarily strain the shaft and coupling.
