Perfectly aligning the shaft and gearbox – easier said than done. The Vetus UNIFLEX16 solves precisely this problem: the elastic coupling compensates for shaft misalignment of up to 2° and automatically centers the propeller shaft with the gearbox. This makes your propulsion system run more smoothly, and expensive consequential damage due to misalignment is avoided.

Tip: Even though the UNIFLEX16 tolerates misalignment, careful basic alignment is worthwhile – the smaller the actual angular offset, the higher the permissible operating speed and the longer the service life of the coupling.
