Precisely aligned before the first screw is tightened: The Vetus Flexible Coupling Type KO5 (Type 6) ensures 100% concentric mounting thanks to its special conical clamping hub – entirely without elaborate alignment measurements. This saves time in the engine room and protects the shaft, gearbox, and bearings from misalignment in the long term.
Tip: Tighten the conical clamping hub evenly and without impact when installing it – this ensures the hub is perfectly concentric and can be removed without leaving any residue later if necessary.
