Before the engine overheats, the exhaust system sounds the alarm: The Vetus Sensor Type XHS monitors the temperature in the exhaust hose or muffler and warns you acoustically and visually as soon as a critical value is reached. This way, you can detect a blocked cooling water circuit or a defective impeller before engine damage occurs.
Tip: Temperature sensors and alarm indicators must be ordered separately. For two-engine systems, a single alarm indicator is sufficient for both sensors – saving space on the dashboard.
