Your onboard computer is supposed to display the fuel tank level, but the old resistance-based sensor doesn't speak NMEA 2000? The YDTA-01N from Yacht Devices solves exactly that: It translates the signal of conventional tank sensors into NMEA 2000 data packets, which any MFD and compatible display onboard can use directly. This way, you can integrate existing tanks into your modern onboard system without modification.

The calibration curve can be created as a simple text file on the microSD card – this allows you to precisely measure irregularly shaped tanks (e.g., integral tanks in the keel) down to the millimeter and normalize the display to true filling volumes.

  • Supports all common sender standards – European (10–180 Ω), American (240–33 Ω) and Japanese (0–310 Ω) as well as any sensors up to 400 Ω
  • Seven tank types configurable: diesel, petrol, oil, fresh water, waste water, livewell/bait tank and more
  • Galvanically isolated between NMEA 2000 network and tank sender – protects the onboard system from potential equalisation currents
  • Parallel operation possible – can be operated alongside existing analogue displays and Volvo Penta MDI (D1/D2) without rewiring the sender
  • Individual calibration via microSD card using a text file – adapts precisely to any tank shape and curve
  • Data logging included: if the microSD card remains in the slot, the adapter records the fill level history
