Get all your J1708 engine data directly on your chartplotter – without having to buy new instruments. The Yacht Devices Engine Gateway YDES-04R connects engines with a serial J1708 interface to your NMEA 2000 onboard network, providing RPM, temperature, engine hours, fuel consumption, and more to any compatible display. Particularly practical: it is the only device that supports the proprietary Volvo Penta KAD protocol.

Tip: The included male J1708 connector allows you to create your own adapter cable for your engine – practical if you don't have a Volvo Penta EDC diagnostic port on board. The supported J1587 and KAD PIDs can be found in full in the enclosed manual.
