Bolts that can still be loosened after years in saltwater – that's not a coincidence, it's TEF-GEL. The PTFE-based paste from Tikal Marine Systems reliably protects metal connections from corrosion caused by galvanic currents and keeps threads permanently smooth, even after intensive use on board.
Tip: Lightly coat the screw or bolt with TEF-GEL before inserting it – including the thread. For turnbuckles, fully coat the moving parts to prevent seizing.
