Protect your Mercury outboard from galvanic corrosion: This zinc anode from Tecnoseal is custom-made for Mercury engines from 50 to 140 hp and sacrifices itself in saltwater so that expensive metal parts of the engine are spared. Onboard corrosion protection that simply works.
Tip: When installing, clean the contact surface on the engine of deposits and oxide so that the anode sits flush and the galvanic protection is fully effective. Replace the anode when it has worn down to half its original volume at the latest.
