Corrosion protection that quietly does its job: This zinc anode from Tecnoseal reliably protects your Mercury outboard (30 and 40 HP) from electrochemical corrosion. It corrodes preferentially – and thereby keeps expensive engine parts made of aluminum and other metals safely in the race.

Tip: Never paint over an anode with antifouling paint – it must have direct contact with water to be effective. When installing, keep the contact area on the engine bare and clean to ensure electrical conductivity.
