No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that provides a completely watertight seal for your propeller shaft. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial fore and aft movement caused by propeller thrust – with no dripping water in the bilge.

Tip: Correct bellows pre-tensioning is crucial for proper function. After installation, check the bellows compression and ensure the set screws of the rotor are seated on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a secure fit.
