No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that absolutely watertight seals your propeller shaft passage. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial fore-and-aft movement caused by propeller thrust – without any drip water in the bilge.

Tip: Correct bellows pre-tensioning is crucial for proper function. After installation, check the bellows compression and ensure that the rotor's set screws are resting on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a secure fit.
