Protect your hull and propulsion unit from the invisible consequences of galvanic corrosion: The Philippi GI 16 reliably interrupts galvanic currents that can enter the onboard electrical system via the shore power cable. Two antiparallel diodes connected in series create a blocking potential that effectively blocks galvanic currents – without interrupting the protective earth conductor.
Tip: After installation, regularly check the terminal connections for a tight fit. If in doubt, an additional sacrificial anode on the underwater hull is recommended as supplementary protection.
