When someone goes overboard, every second counts: The JON-BUOY Recovery Module MK 6 (JBRM6) is a compact, complete solution for MOB deployment that is activated with a single pull, automatically inflates, and immediately provides a safe, highly visible hold for the person in the water. It simultaneously replaces a life buoy, horseshoe, drogue, light, and whistle – thus meeting the requirements of the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, which normally stipulate two separate devices.
Tip: Before each offshore season, check the release system and note the next service date – the 2-year interval ensures predictable maintenance. For larger yachts or long passages, the remote release upgrade is worthwhile, allowing a single person to react even with a reduced crew.
