The crucial step between old antifouling and new protection: Hempel's Underwater Primer is a high-performance adhesion primer with aluminum flakes that reliably adheres to existing antifouling as well as epoxy-primed underwater surfaces. It creates the perfect base for your antifouling application – whether on a GRP hull, a wooden boat, or a steel keel.
Tip: Only use Hempel Thinner 08111 for thinning and tool cleaning. Observe the respective touch-dry times during application (20 °C: 3 h, 10 °C: 6 h) before applying the antifouling coat.
