The AIT2500 is a latest-generation Class B+ AIS transponder: With 5 W transmission power and SOTDMA technology, you transmit 2.5 times stronger than with classic Class B devices – and get a guaranteed transmission time slot even in busy areas. This means you are ideally equipped for offshore passages, fast motorboats and coastal navigation.
Tip: For the best transmission performance, mount the supplied GPS antenna with a clear view of the sky, separate from the VHF antenna. Use the free setup software to correctly store the MMSI, ship name and type – this is mandatory before you put the device into operation.
