Reliable crimp connections that remain watertight even in the damp everyday life on board: These insulated ring terminals from Crosseven combine a classic crimp connection with a heat-shrinkable insulation sleeve – for permanent protection against moisture, saltwater and corrosion. The ring terminal with a diameter of 8 mm fits common screw terminals on board.
Tip: Be sure to use crimping pliers with a suitable die for shrinkable cable lugs. Then heat the heat shrink tubing evenly with a heat gun (no open flame) until it sits snugly and wrinkle-free – only then is the watertightness of the connection guaranteed.
