Anyone who regularly travels in salt or brackish water knows how important fresh sacrificial anodes are for the longevity of the drive.

Tip: Zinc anodes should be replaced as soon as they have corroded to about 50% of their original volume. Don't wait until they are completely dissolved, otherwise the underlying metal will be unprotected.
