What pipe diameter do I need for a tarpaulin frame?
That depends on the span and the weight of the tarpaulin. Common sizes are 22 mm and 25 mm outer diameter – check which connectors and foot fittings you already have or are buying so that everything fits together.
Can I combine aluminum frame tubes with stainless steel connectors?
This is possible, but carries the risk of galvanic corrosion, especially in saltwater environments. Separate the metals with plastic inserts or insulating bushings, or use one material throughout.
How do I attach a cover tarp without damaging the railing?
